# Other ways to reach Balt

> The console, email and the Chrome extension.

Besides your chat app, you can write to Balt from the console, by email or from the Chrome extension. Find these under **How to reach me**, on the console's home.

## In the console

| Action | How |
| - | - |
| Start | **New chat**, in the sidebar |
| Pick up again | **Recent**, or **All chats** for the full history |
| Attach files | **Attach a file**: up to 5 files of 25 MB per message |
| Talk instead of typing | **Record a voice message**: up to 4 minutes, transcribed when sent |

## By email

Your organization has a Balt address. Copy it from **How to reach me**. Write to it from your account's address: Balt ignores messages from addresses he doesn't know. The conversation follows the email thread.

## With the Chrome extension

**Add the Chrome extension** opens its Chrome Web Store page. Once installed, **Open the Chrome extension** opens it from the console.
