# Get an update every week

> A routine that prepares an update for you, on the day and at the time you choose.

A sales update every Monday, a Friday recap of what competitors did: Balt prepares it on his own, every week.

**1. Ask Balt**

Write what you want and when: "Every Monday at 9:00, give me an update on last week's sales." Balt writes the routine, shows you what it will do and waits for your confirmation.

**2. Choose where it answers**

On the routine's page, **Answers in** picks the conversation where the update is posted: your direct messages or a team channel. Invite Balt to that channel.

**3. Try it right away**

**Run now** runs the routine without waiting for Monday, so you can see the result.

## Adjust the routine

Ask Balt for the change: "Add revenue per salesperson." Every change saves a new version, and you can go back to a previous one.
