# Company access

> One approval in the tool connects your whole team, and everyone acts under their own name.

Some tools, like Cobalt, connect through **Company access**: the organization's owner approves Balt once, and the whole team is connected.

Only the organization's owner can connect, disconnect or set up company access.

## Everyone acts under their own name

Balt works in the tool on behalf of the person who asks, matched by their email address. His actions carry that person's name.

The account's **People** tab shows how each person is matched:

* found by their email;
* chosen by hand by the owner;
* no match, when no account in the tool has their address;
* email not confirmed, to be chosen by hand.

Click **Check now** to run the matching again, and **Change** to choose who a person acts as: **Match automatically**, a specific member, or **No access**.

## Disconnect company access

Disconnecting removes access for everyone. Reconnecting asks a tool administrator to approve again.

If the tool doesn't answer, you can disconnect anyway: access then stays active in the tool, and one of its administrators has to revoke it on their side.
