# What is Balt?

> An AI employee your whole team shares, working in the tools you already use.

Balt is an AI employee. You write to him where your team already talks, he works in your tools with access of his own, he remembers what he learns about your company, and he takes on the work that keeps coming back without being chased.

## One Balt for the whole team

Your whole team shares the same Balt. He knows your company rather than one person's conversation, and everyone keeps their own access rights.

## What Balt does alone, and what he brings to you

Balt acts alone on what stays internal and can be undone. Anything that leaves the company is shown to you before it goes: an email to a client, a message outside, a change in a shared tool. ## The console

The console, at [app.hire-balt.com](https://app.hire-balt.com), is where you follow and set up Balt: his conversations, his routines, your integrations, what he has learned and the members of your organization.

## What's new

New things Balt can do are announced under **What’s new**, in your profile menu. The latest also show in a card in the sidebar: **Dismiss** closes it.
