What to do when Balt doesn’t do what you expected.

Balt doesn't reply in a channel

Balt only sees a channel if he is invited to it. Invite him, then mention him in your message.

For a routine, its page shows “Balt isn’t in this channel” under Answers in: invite Balt to that channel, or nothing will be delivered.

An integration stopped working

The integration’s card says so:

Message	What to do
Access to the tool expired	Open the integration and reconnect the account.
Connection to the tool lost	Reconnect the account.
Access withdrawn in the tool	An admin of the tool has to authorize Balt again.

A routine doesn't run

Check its state, under its name:

State	What to do
Paused	In the ⋯ menu, choose Resume.
Waiting for an integration	Connect the integration the routine names.
An administrator switched this off	Ask an administrator to switch it back on.

If your organization is out of credits, the run is refused. It shows under Usage, Activity tab, as “Run refused, out of credits”.

The notetaker didn't join a meeting

• The meeting needs a video link.
• The calendar needs to be connected. If it shows “Expired, reconnect in Integrations”, reconnect it.
• The Meeting recording routine needs to be on.

If the meeting shows “The notetaker couldn’t join this meeting.” and all three are fine, contact support.

The recording or transcript is missing

“Recording unavailable right now.”: try again in a few minutes. “Couldn’t create the transcript.”: the meeting couldn’t be transcribed. Contact support if it happens again.

Balt stopped working

Your organization is out of credits. An administrator can buy some under Billing, or switch on Automatic recharges. See Credits and billing.

I can't sign in

Message	Why	What to do
Your request is waiting for approval	Your company already has an organization in Balt	An administrator has to approve your request.
Your request is waiting for approval	You use a personal address	The Balt team reviews your request.
Invitation expired	An invitation lasts 14 days	Ask for a new invitation.
Couldn’t open your account	Your session was refused	Contact support.

A question from Balt expired

Unanswered within 72 hours, Balt doesn’t take the action. Ask him again. See Approvals.
